SIR11 Retail Services Training Package The validation draft for the revised SIR11 Retail Services Training Package is now available for review. The validation draft is based on the feedback received during the consultation process, Service e Skills Feedback Register, national consultation, workshops and emails. Feedback on the consultation drafts was generally positive and consistent throughout the country and we believe that the comments/suggestions received have contributed to the improvement of these revised drafts. This validation draft provides a final opportunity for our stakeholders to review and comment on the draft components of the revised package to ensure that the revised training package reflects the current skill needs of the retail industry. All comments to be submitted by September 2 2011 via email to Barbara Hawkins at bhawkins@serviceskills.com.au Once the validation process is complete, the revised package will go through the quality assurance process which includes adjusting unit codes and competency fields, external equity and editorial and holistic reports and sign off from the state training authorities. We envisage that work on the revised package will be completed by September 2011. I welcome any feedback/comments on any aspect of the project. Please feel free to contact me at or on 0418 109 789 if you have any questions. |
