Right Way Training Facility Recognition
To apply for Right Way Recognition in Training Facility we recommend you complete the industry specific Facilities, equipment and resources checklist we have supplied. If you are unable to check off every item listed in the checklist, we do not recommend you lodge your application for Facility Evaluation, as it is possible your facility will not pass the site evaluation.
In order to apply for Right Way Recognition you must understand, agree to and sign the Declaration of Commitment to the Right Way Code of Conduct for Registered Training Organisations. The Declaration can be found in the Right Way Code of Conduct for Registered Training Organisations and must be attached to other application materials.
Fees
The Right Way program is operated on a fee for service basis and is a not for profit system operated by Service Skills Australia on behalf of the industries it serves. The Right Way fees cover the administrative and promotional costs of the recognition process. Fees are payable at the time of submission and are non refundable.
The fees outlined in this fee schedule are applicable:
From 01 July 2011
To 30 June 2012
Site evaluation fee-one Industry Advisor This fee is based on the advisor evaluating two sites per day and includes travel to each site, meals (if required) if advisors are required to attend a site visit outside designated metropolitan areas, a quote can be provided to the client. | $1200.00 per day |
| Travel to each site by commercial air operator from nearest metropolitan location per evaluator | At cost |
| Transfers to and from local airport | At local taxi cost |
| Accommodation - 1 night if required | At cost |
A quote will be provided to RTOs to confirm costs. RTOs and Service Skills and its local agent will agree upon this fee before the application is submitted.
It is preferable that two evaluators attend most facility evaluations. However, it may be cost prohibitive for RTOs located in rural and regional locations to pay for a second evaluator's travel and accommodation costs. In this case, the RTO can choose to pay for the services of one evaluator who will be an Industry Advisor who is a current industry practitioner.
