| Welcome to Roadmap to Country |
|
Roadmap tells the story of our project where we worked with the remote Queensland Communities of Doomadgee in the Lower Gulf of Carpentaria and Kubin on the Torres Strait Island of Moa, to deliver training related to Tourism and Enterprise on Country. We followed sealed highways, bumpy roads and sometimes made new tracks. Through a collection of yarns, vodcasts, images and practical tips the site will take you on our journey and introduce you into these Communities and meet the people involved in the project. The site is designed to be a resource to be used by Indigenous Communities, Training Providers and Enterprise Development stakeholders to encourage training of Indigenous Australians on Country. WarningAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are warned that this web site may contain images of deceased people |
