Continuous improvement

The continuous improvement and transition to the Standards for Training Packages project for the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package provides the opportunity for industry bodies, employers, employees and training organisations to provide input on the current and future skills and knowledge requirements for the industry. The scope of this work has emerged out of the SIT Recommended Actions Reportand is also reflected in our latest release of the continuous improvement plan.

The SIT Recommended Actions Report responds to key themes identified in the 2014 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Environmental Scan, as well as general feedback received on the training package over the past 18 months. The 17 recommendations outlined in this report were approved for further scoping and development by our Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry Advisory Committee at the 15 April 2014 committee meeting.
